I dont blame people for having these takes tbf. Its hard to understand everything that the story potrays and the web novel is crazy.. But its easy to remember that only his thoughts were transported to the new world, anything else was left behind, that explain most of his action in early volumes, cuz essencially he was a kid with memories from his old life. This is directly mentioned in volume 9, when he talks with Silent.
