This is all good and well, and something I’m actively working on. But how does one do the work of taking their life back when they still have to survive within all of these systems, and those same systems are the very things keeping their soul hostage and leaving them depleted? Unless someone is privileged enough to opt out and exist in the way they feel they need to, how do they go from constant burnout cycles into actually living in a way that allows their soul and nervous system to function as they fundamentally need to: soft, secure, and safe within the body? And especially as an undiagnosed neurodivergent person (currently waitlisted for assessment), who can no longer mask and is struggling to navigate and function within these systems, this world, and society as it is, often with little to no support?

I’ve really worked hard the last few years detaching from a lot of “normal things” and what I really want becoming a bit clearer feeling again
