Stop criticizing people unnecessarily. It's true that some people refuse to accept any explanation. Whatever his way of saying it was, the point he made was valid. I have personally seen people pray, Ya Allah, if my parents cannot recover and are only suffering, then please grant them peace and take away their pain This is not a prayer born out of hatred....it comes from love, helplessness and the pain of watching someone suffer. Before judging someone's words, try to understand the emotions behind them.
