@thecalmdigitalpath: I've been a massage therapist for over 20 years, and this is such an easy way to work into the fascia and soft tissue of the neck and shoulders using just a spoon. Make sure you apply some oil, lotion or cream before you start so the spoon glides over the skin rather than dragging across it. The different curves of the spoon allow you to target different areas of the neck and shoulders, helping to work into the fascia and soft tissue while increasing blood circulation to the area. Some reddening is normal. If you're new to this technique, spend less time on each area to begin with and see how your skin responds. Save this for the next time your neck feels stiff or your shoulders feel tight. This content is for educational purposes only. If you have a medical condition, injury, or you're unsure whether this technique is suitable for you, follow the guidance of your healthcare professional. #stiffneck #tightshoulders #neckpain #tighttraps #selfmassage

Alison – Neck Tension Help :
Here I'm using a spoon,
but you can also use a gua sha tool or even the
handle of a fork. The key is using something with a smooth, slightly rounded edge that glides easily over the skin.
