I used to be a flight attendant, and this still creeps me out. The day before, a passenger had died of a heart attack on one of our aircraft (I wasn’t in it). I only knew someone had died because of the aircraft logbook (when I changed aircrafts) I had no idea who it was. On my next flight with that same plane (less than 24h after the incident), a passenger suddenly asked if he could pray for us onboard (it’s a no). A few minutes later, he said his heart was racing and kept scanning the back galley like he was looking for someone. As we were about to land, he grabbed my arm and asked, “Aren’t you going to help that priest?” I looked around. There was no priest. After landing, I told the captain. He checked with maintenance, and that’s when we found out the passenger who had died the day before was… a priest. None of us knew that. Looking back, the passenger kept staring at the exact area where the priest had collapsed. I still can’t explain it.
