Last summer, I bought this bathing suit hoping that by this summer I’d finally fit into it… and that I’d feel confident and completely happy in my body. Today, I can finally wear it. But if I’m being honest, I don’t feel the way I imagined I would. Losing the weight didn’t instantly erase every insecurity I had. That doesn’t mean I’m not proud. I am. I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come. I went from 326 pounds to this, and that’s something I’ll never take for granted. I’m just not at the finish line yet. I’m still growing. I’m still healing. I’m still becoming the person I know I’m capable of being. And one thing I know for sure… I’m still going to rock this today.
