I agree with all of this. It’s so confusing. I really dislike alllll the amnesia. 2 characters having amnesia in 1 episode is crazy

They’re going to introduce silo one soon, next episode maybe, the books are fast paced and jam packed with character pov switches so some changes had to happen to keep continuity for the screen

This was such a great review!! I agree, if they don’t kill the amnesia thing between episode 2 and 3 it will ruin the season I think. As someone who hasn’t read the books but knows a few interesting spoilers, please spoil one more for me: is the sister by the end of ep 1 also on the amnesia drugs?

So this show has been recommended to me by a bunch of people in I've tried watching It several times but I cannot get past episode 3. It baffles me that people are actually enjoying it. But honestly, with your reviews, I at least get to follow along the story and what people talk about. But besides that, the word building is so unbelievable.

What I liked most about this episode was how unbalanced it makes me as a book reader feel. And it feels intentional in a good way. Like is Bernard really dead? I don’t honestly know!!! I love the past/present parallel I bet that continues for a bit…I’m sure it’s purposeful. But I’m excited

in the books there were 50 silos but we are made aware in this there is a silo 51. I think that is what houses some form of AI. The computer like voice we hear that is actually in charge of the silos.

I KNEW THEY WERE NANO BOTS- I was so baffled and then guessed that after the newest episode where she said they had an 80s style device jet which works so well with the Silos aesthetic and then what she said about it not being hacked and with all the ai and that bot cloud i’m tying it all together slowly 🙏😭
