the serpent did lie in the garden. genisis 3 verse 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely d?i?e. He doesn't say when but she did eat it and that led to her passing later on. If she never ate the fruit she would have eaten from the tree of immortality and lived. Then the tempter in the desert. You said he had the power to offer jesus the things he was tempting. But he doesn't. How do you tempt the son of a God that created and can create all those things. They weren't his to give. It's like someone trying to sell you an item you already own. So that's another lie.
