My mom once came in my room, yelled at me for being up at 11 on a Friday night, and then yelled and I mean YELLED for 30 minutes about my lamp not being in the right space on my desk. She was the one who put it there.

She never knew when i was unmuted in a discord call and one time she was stressed and suddenly started yelling at me about how i should find a hobby (i have literally been a freelance artist since i was 10, i just wanted to play a game with my friends but my laughter made her mad 😭) and they were just laughing at her in my headphones and saying sorry that i had to live like that and how she should feel embarrassed not me. First time that ever happened, it was nice to have supportive people.

I had doctors ask my mom to leave the room to ask me questions but what was happening at home was so normalized I didn’t think it was wrong. So I always told them I was okay!
