If he likes graphics novels he may enjoy the Warrior Cats ones. My 8year old just went through them in 3 days.

if you want him to read like a book without graphics, i highly recommend the reading the percy jackson and the olympians series.

I don’t even think I’m having kids, but they would get a kindle so fast. I didn’t like reading as a kid because I only ever read for school or as punishment when mom would take away tv, so it was never fun. My kid will love reading because it’s fun!

he should read the 13storey tree house series its similar to the diary of a wimpy kid in the way that there isnt the typical bad guy hero story I remember reading them and loving them
