Yesterday I went to see the fireworks alone for my birthday . I definitely had a small wave of sadness at first but I really tried to shake it and enjoy the moment . My phone died and I only got this one photo . So happy I went .

It’s definitely the peer pressure to feel like you HAVE to be doing something. Even if you don’t see the internet or TV, but it’s the fact that you know ppl are out doing something.

This made me feel better knowing I’m not the only one. I have a small family, I’m an only child & only grandchild…I’ve spent so many holidays alone or just with my mom. I get so sad & just stay off social media.
