There’s only one Zangetsu. The other spirit is the manifestation of his Quincy powers and he just assumed the name of Zangetsu but that’s not his name. He tried to say his name at one point in the series but because of Ichibe, Ichigo couldn’t hear the name.

I like how both of them are trying to protect Ichigo in their own way. One wants him to be King of the battlefield and the other wants him to remain off the battlefield entirely.

There's no two Zangetsu. The black one was thought to be the real Zangetsu but White Hollow was the real manifestation of his Zanpakotou and his Shinigami powers. However, Ichigo's origin isn't simple because his Mom, was a Quincy which Ichigo could possibly also have that power. And the manifestation of that power is the "YHWACH" younger version (the black one). And he thought that is "Old Man Zangetsu".
