Airline worker here. Only pay expensive luggage for carry on bags. Check in bags get thrown around so much it’s pointless shelling out lots of money for it just to get damaged. Especially the light colored bags get dirty SO fast. Unless you’re flying private, it’s not worth it.

Check your ticket. The fine print tells you how much the airline will reimburse for damaged items that were checked. Plus you have proof. Some cover up to 3k.

I love my Beis luggage. I honestly don’t understand why people get it in a light color and then complain about it getting scratched or scruffed when YOU KNOW it’s going to go through the ringer after checking it in 🫠

I work baggage for a major legacy airline, pls stop with the hard shell suit cases. they are no match for the ruthless conveyor belt systems they are ran through. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!✨✨✨
