@ctvnewsvi: “When you’re under the tree, the rest of the world doesn’t exist.” While walking home the other night, Bonnie O’Reilly noticed a couple kissing under her tree growing in her front yard.“ Bonnie let the couple know it was okay, because this was no ordinary tree. “It’s the Kissing Tree.” Bonnie says that made the couple smile, because after months of him carrying around a ring, he’d just happened to find this perfect place under the branches of the Kissing Tree to propose. Bonnie's tree holds a special place in the hearts of countless couples, families, kids, dogs, but most of all for Bonnie herself. She and her late husband Brian O'Reilly had kissed under the tree countless times. Brian had told Adam Sawatsky over 10 years ago in a Sign-Off story that this tree had changed his entire life. Bonnie ensures their legacy of love lives on by maintaining the Kissing Tree for others to enjoy the whimsy and magic she and Brian felt for all those years. Adam has the story of the Kissing Tree in this Sawatsky Sign-Off. #fyp #victoriabc #vancouverisland #kissingtree #Love #happiness #couplegoals #marriagegoals #specialtrees #trees #remarkable #sawatsky #sawatskysignoff #vancouverisland #ctvnewsvancouverisland #bcnews #joycore #joymaxxing #inspirational
