Even while she was slipping she was still able to hold her own against Zuko. As much as I love the gaang there’s no denying that azula was a true prodigy(in my opinion on par with the same level as aang in terms of talent), using her ruthlessness to any and every advantage she could. Love her dissent into madness and I hope they eventually redeem her in a way
