If the shifter feels solid/as a Ferrari should & you can actually stall it then Thats pretty cool. Also happy they went through the effort to give it a clutch pedal even if it doesn’t really do anything.

While I understand why people are upset it’s not a real manual. I think this opens the door for maybe this tech to end up in a mid engine car. Maybe it can be an option for other models down the line. aswell as other brands to adopting this. Like electric cars having paddle shifters first Hyundai then Porsche.

honestly, if there is no appreciable difference in the way the car behaves in manual mode, I am all here for DCTs to be built and sold like this by any manufacturer. The Hyundai Ns have the exact same gear ratios in the manual as the first 6 gears of the DCT, with the final two gears in the DCT serving as overdrive for highway cruising. if I could row my own but then just put it in auto on the highway; that would be perfect.

This is what people dont get 12 clilideri is a modern vertion of the classic ferarri datona. while saying cc850 is a modern vertion of the ccx so these manual makes sense but saying manule 12 clilinderi should use real manual is the same case as the cc850. cc850=modern ccx (loved) 12 Cilinderi=modern daytona (hated)

Modern cars already use by-wire systems everywhere. Brake-by- wire does not make the brakes fake. Throttle-by-wire does not make the throttle fake. So why does manual-by-wire suddenly make the driving experience fake?
