Talked and competed over the phone. Started at 68k MRSP to 59.6 OTD. Talked to about 10 different dealerships for the same car +/- a few features on them.

I used pretty much all this last saturday. walked in told them I had an appointment at carmax and was leaving in 45 min if they couldnt get me price i wanted and see what trade would be. told them car was looking at dif dealer had same exact car an hr away $3k less 3k more miles. came down $2500 gave me what carmax was offering. they tried to increase apr a point to 6.5. told them if they didnt drop the point we were walking out the door and going to the other dealer. 45 min later was driving home in the new car. def helps to know facts before arriving.

I just negotiated an entire deal for my 2026 Honda pilot elite that I picked up this morning all via text and email. And then I negotiated my trade-in when I walked in the door as part of my deal that they didn’t know till the very end. The entire deal took less than two hours. It’s probably the best experience I’ve ever had. This is my sixth lease 💅🏻

I owe 20000 on my compass and hate it. Carvana saying only worth 16. Should I keep paying on it until I’m not upside down on it or take the hit and add the difference onto a new loan? Also why worth so little but dealerships charging what I owe?

In car shopping for a week and the dealerships just wanna play games. they won’t give you any numbers over the phone or via email and they ghost you it’s exhausting. There are really no deals right now. I wish there was.

I just got my 2026 Pacifica select and for 39,800. Not bad if you ask me. I put 30,000 down and finance the rest and they beat my credit union with a 6.25 interest rate
