This isn’t about making Neytiri being perfect. This is showcasing her incredible connection to her forest, clan, and traditions. Archery is incredibly important and sacred to the Ometikya which is why Neytiri spent so much time and effort into becoming how good she is. She chooses to be guided by Eywa with every step she takes and never takes a life without a reason. That’s a huge part of her never missing. James doesn’t just glaze Neytiri he’s trying to impress on us the incredible bond she has to Eywa, different but just as important as her husband’s and a bug reason why her children are so connected to the Great Mother. People saying it’s unrealistic don’t seem to understand she’s a hunter who uses a bow while flying an animal and hunting the ones who are running. They value the live of the animals they hunt and do their best to make quick kills. She’s had years to become a crack shot.
