Didnt need tinker cad to border, simply make a clone before you edit, change colour on one to see it better, center both as they will over lap, size one bigger or smaller, then in objects select the smaller do you edits then, a subtraction of the bigger which will leave the border, merge and print.

When I figured this out it made pin collecting so much more fun, and profitable! TinkerCad definitely helps add height to the outside walls to help keep the pin backs from catching on stuff.
