I'm almost obviously pre bussing my tables to keep them clean for my guests. when my people get up to leave, nothing but glasses and napkins are left.

As someone who works at outback yes the orders are made in order of when they are rang in. Yes 30 minutes it’s still absolutely ridiculous for a cheesecake. Especially knowing all we have to do is grab it from the fridge put it on a plate 😂

Hello? He is clearly saying he doesn’t care about the cheesecake. As someone who has been in the industry for 18 years now, wanting those dirty dishes off the table is a valid request. Prebusing is a BASIC part of steps of service. Even when you’re busy. Also, a dessert order shouldn’t have even been put in until those dishes were cleared. This is embarrassing for the server.

As a server with over 10 years of experience.. at desert time, nothing should be on the table except drinks, dessert spoons/ forks and napkins/ linens. This is why servers are getting less than 20%
