I get that it’s stressful, but isn’t school supposed to challenge us? 😭 What’s wrong with 1 hour per subject? Tbh, even 1 hour feels too short sometimes cause teachers still have a lot to discuss. The new system isn’t perfect but it’s there to improve learning, not just make students suffer. And y’all don’t even know what’s actually making the kid feel pressured. Is it really the lessons, or the people around them? Kids can spend hours on their phones with no problem, but once it’s a pencil and a notebook, suddenly it’s too much. Let’s be real, gadget addiction is also a big factor

You're treating yourself as robots, DEPED is not pressuring you, you are pressuring yourself. Aiming high? Want 90/95/98 grades? Listen carefully for every subject, you don't need to review, just understand the lesson when they are teaching, you guys have 3 weeks to learn lessons. Most of the lessons are what we have learned in the past, so we have a background of the lessons. In my perspective, education is the key to a better future, I also learn many lessons, they are very easy to remember if you actually try and think about it. One lesson everyday, if you're having a hard time on a specific lesson, give more focus on that lesson—it's actually a very good technique to get the grades you're aiming for. Instead of focusing on all subjects, focus on the subjects you're having a hard time with. For example: You already understand the lesson for 5 subjects and is easy for you, but the other 3 on the other hand is hard for you to learn, focus on that subject more so that you wont be disappointed when you see the grade of a specific subject on your report card. what's wrong with having 1 hour per subject?? I think its normally 1 hr per subject even before pandemic started.. you just have to get use to it because when you grow up and go to college, there'll be scheduled for about 2 hrs or 1 1/2 hrs per subject. Not to mention some class starts at 5:30.. so yes. 1 hr per subject, 15 minutes recess and 1 hr lunch break is normal unless you went to school with less time schedule

tsk. TO ALL STRICT SCHOOLS: Do you really think we are robots? Do you think we have no feelings, no voice, and no right to be heard? We are students, but we are also human beings. We are not machines built only to obey rules without question. We are not objects to be controlled. We are young people trying to learn, grow, and understand the world. The stricter the school becomes, the more it crushes the minds of students. When schools care more about control than understanding, students lose confidence, creativity, and motivation. Too much strictness does not make students smarter — it makes them afraid. It makes them silent. It makes them feel like every mistake is a crime and every opinion is a problem. A school should be a place where students are guided, not oppressed. It should be a place where we are encouraged to think, speak, create, and become better people. But when rules become too harsh, school starts to feel less like a place of learning and more like a place of punishment. That is not education. That is control. Students need respect, not fear. Students need support, not constant pressure. Students need freedom to express themselves, freedom to ask questions, and freedom to be human. If schools continue to treat us like we are less than human, then they are destroying the very intelligence they claim to build.

I actually got used to our system our classes used to be 55 mins per subject so adding 5 minutes doesn't make a difference, our recess is 10 minutes I usually sleep so it doesn't matter, for grading 90 is honors not 95 deped cleared that, and lunch being 45-50 minutes is easy to adjust to with proper time management, I usually walk home so I take 2 minutes since my school is near, I eat then get prepared then head to school you just don't take forever and you'll be fine.
