The Covid season of this show is one of the best seasons of reality TV. They go from weekend friends to being locked in a house 24/7 for 2 months straight. It’s a great season and human behavior study.

Hot take: Kyle and Amanda got so heated against Hannah in the COVID season because she’s a version of Amanda’s qualities Kyle doesn’t like, who shouts back. It let Kyle and Amanda treat Hannah as some avatar for the issues in their own relationships. They could argue about their own ish without ever addressing it and just acting like Hannah was the bad guy. (was Hannah also acting spoiled? yeah. It was COVID, and many people weren’t at their best. Does it make her a Monster? Eh, I wouldn’t want to cohabitate with anyone cast on my favorite show.)

Okay but season 1+2 is important for understandjng Kyle, Amanda and Lindsey lore 😭 Lindsey joined the show with Everett as “power couple”, arguing 24/7, Season 2 Bravo didn’t have an interest in Everett, Kyle & Amanda came to the house as the new power couple. All of Lindsey + Everett’s were shown in s1, but Kyle and Amanda were given grace start of s2 and theirs weren’t. Which pissed off Wirkus Circus, Stephen and Lindsay, who tag teamed on Kyle & Amanda at the reunion, Amanda is literally begginggg to be allowed to talk and crying. The audience backed Amanda, calling Wirkus and Lindsay bullies. Kyle sends the 17 page email, Bravo recasts based on audience reaction with younger cast mates solely around Amanda, and only Lindsey and Danielle survive the cut. Season 3 starts and Amanda feels like she runs the house and has been gunning for Lindsey ever since and Kyle + Amanda die on the hill of the being the power couple of the house
