My grandpa just passed away this year at 92 and his sister, my aunt Mary, was inconsolable. She was the last one in the funeral home during the viewing along with my grandma because “I have to kiss my brother goodnight one last time.” I held it together the entire funeral until then. It just goes to show even if you have your sibling for almost a century it still isn’t long enough.

Yesterday was the anniversary of my sister’s death. But so much older than your sister. And even though she wasn’t always my favourite person, it still cuts deep. I understand what you were saying about grief and loss and losing your anchor. I’m sorry for your loss.

im so sorry you had to go thru this...i bawled thru this movie & made myself sick. my brother is my favorite & the thought of that scared me. I thought her relationship with her sister was wonderful & relationship with herself was sooo beautiful. one of the best movies ive seen in awhile.
