@artsyhoneybee5: This applies to parents who have children of any gender, entitlement and poor behaviour isn’t gender specific. BUT it is important to think critically about how the lack of parenting and its consequences will impact people of different genders as adults. And if you think it’s okay to let your sons act in an aggressive way in regards to living beings because they are children and/or boys, I worry about the kind of men they will become and the women who will have to deal with them. #parenting #raisingkids #feminism
A lot of people have forgotten that parent is a verb, and not just a noun.

I keep having “am I too strict?!” moments whenever I’m around other parents. I feel like the only one correcting and setting hard boundaries. It’s actually awkward 🥲

exactly this. my eleven year old son is often upset by how unkind other kids can be. because we've taught him to be kind.

Give 👏 kids👏 boundaries👏 please👏 They need them, thrive and feel safe when they have boundaries, rules, structure, clarity. Also; not everything is a discussion. I could go on and on and on
