I remember being a kid and thinking how useless the training bras were because they don’t have anything to stop nipples from poking through. As a kid it’s super embarrassing

I had padding in my TRAINING bra, my SPORTS bra growing up didn’t have padding because they were skin tight like bandings🙃 most sport bras don’t have padding

Because their nipples are really, really pointy at that stage of development. They also can get really irritated, and the padding helps them feel more comfortable. I am saying this as a woman who has four daughters.

I had this conversation when my daughter started developing. That is a small amount of padding for modesty. When a girl first starts to develop she gets buds which is basically the nipple sticking out more which makes them uncomfortable so the small amount of padding in those bras hides that and they feel more comfortable
