@nattyyygains: I don’t think you truly understand the sacrifices military families make until you’re living it. You see the homecomings. You thank people for their service. You know deployments are hard. But then one day, it’s your turn. It’s raising a baby while your best friend watches milestones through a phone screen. It’s celebrating birthdays, holidays, and ordinary Tuesdays apart. It’s learning to carry more than you ever thought you could because there isn’t another option. This deployment gave me an entirely new respect for the men and women who serve our country and for the spouses, children, and families who quietly serve alongside them.
