Amber, I know you want to be comfortable but as a suggestion I would recommend just using the hospital gowns because you will most likely get blood on them and it may not wash out. Take a robe for privacy and a going home outfit that is comfortable and oversized. Tucks and all will be provided by the hospital.

Bring a lot of snacks. Bring more than you think you'll even eat. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash for when they allow you to shower. Long phone chargers since the outlets are not really close to the hospital bed

Packing a bag is so over rated . Had four children ; the only child I packed for was the first child. Last three I took nothing . They had everything you need .

Snacks too! especially if Amber's going to breastfeed, always hunfey at 2am, and all the nurse has is graham crackers or jello.

I’m almost 34 weeks and my husband is also in a wheelchair! We were told that when we check into L&D, we need to make sure they make a note on our file for a larger postpartum room. The delivery rooms are huge but some of their postpartum rooms are too small for my husband to move around in!
