how is the reflecting pool enough water to cool anything?

Matt Rennells :
Physics guy here. While the volume of water in the reflecting pool is more than enough to cool the power of the data center, it is literally the worst design for doing so and would require a constant current/flow of water circulating through it (which would fix the algae problem) as well as an elaborate filtering system. Due to it being shallow and large, it gets too hot just from sunlight alone. A better source would be to put some sort of heat exchanger in the Potomac - like maybe run the piping under that new golf course replacing the cherry tree park? Running water takes away heat better than stagnant water - which is why running a faucet over frozen food thaws it quicker than just sitting it in a tub of water.

I think they’re using plasma to cool the data centers.

is the algae and paint peeling a cover up for how polluted it is going to be once its used for cooling?

I highly doubt they’re using water from the reflecting pool to cool it. The reflecting pool was just a distraction, bc the news started only talking about that for a while and still is. It’s also be a lot less efficient to get water from the reflecting pool rather than the source of the reflecting pool (the Potomac). I don’t disagree they might be building some sort of facility, but I highly doubt they’re drawing water from the reflecting pool

nah, the reflecting pool is too far from anything and too shallow to be useful. The rest of it, I believe. The reflecting pool is just plain ol' incompetence and Potomac water

The Reflecting Pool water comes directly from the Potomac River.
Data Centers require water from water treatment facilities or well water.

WAIT in the 🙄interview🙄 he did with usha vance, he specifically mentions Tiber creek running through the white house grounds. He goes on to say he, “I don’t know if it exists anymore, but I think we’re building a ballroom on top of it” … is this confirmation??
