@mamottley: Today was one of those moments in the life of a nation that we pause to recognise. I was honoured to witness Commissioner Sonia Boyce take the oath of office as Commissioner of Police. Her appointment rests on years of service, discipline, competence and commitment to Barbados. My Government stands ready to support Commissioner Boyce and the Barbados Police Service as we continue strengthening public safety, confidence and trust. I also thank outgoing Commissioner Richard Boyce for his steady service to our country. May God bless Commissioner Boyce, the Barbados Police Service, and Barbados.
