@rintan_kz: Tanabata is one of my favorite Japanese traditions. 🎋🩷 Every year on July 7th, people in Japan write their wishes on colorful strips of paper called tanzaku and hang them on bamboo branches. It’s a simple tradition, but it’s something I’ve loved since I was little. When I was little, my grandpa took me to Tanabata festivals every year. Those memories are still some of my favorites, and even now, writing wishes every summer makes me smile. This year, one of my wishes was for my grandpa. After about 15 years apart, we were finally able to reconnect. He’s now 92 years old, and every moment we spend together means so much to me. So my wish is simple. I hope we can keep making wonderful memories together for many more years. 🤍 I also wrote a few personal wishes for my health and everyday life. Some are small, some are a little funny, but every one of them comes from my heart. If you’ve never celebrated Tanabata before, maybe take a moment on July 7th to make a wish of your own.
