Because it’s terrible writing and even worse acting. It’s literally Netflix doing what Netflix does and telling you exactly what’s happening on screen with clunky dialogue because they know it’s just background noise now. They don’t make anything worth pure attention

that scene did not feel as deep as the animation, considering how much we followed her through up to that point. the netflix live action made it seem like we've been keeping up with her and her earthbending journey for a while (poorly executed btw).

I've only been in this fandom for a year, and all I've seen is fighting and hating. This fandom is never satisfied with anything. I get that the Netflix live action has flaws and the writing isn't perfect and didn't do every character justice, but it was still a genuine attempt to adapt the story. At least they tried. The hate just feels way too forced sometimes.
