It wasn’t meant to be a high paced action film. It was a documovie about Washington’s earlier life before leading the Colonial Army against the British. It’s also Angel Studios, not a massive budget Hollywood studio.

A lot of people say they don't like a movie just because it used AI, but the reality is that AI has already been used in many major Hollywood productions without most audiences noticing. Studios have used AI for things like de-aging actors, cleaning up visual effects, generating background crowds, improving voices, and speeding up editing. Movies from companies like Disney, Marvel, Warner Bros., and others have all used AI-assisted tools in some form. The difference is that AI is usually just another filmmaking too. it doesn't necessarily replace actors or artists. Whether people like it or not, AI is becoming as common in filmmaking as CGI did years ago.
