@beingbrittanny: It’s wild to think it’s been 15 years since we were out there riding around and getting it in a car that smelled like straight‑up rotten Four Loko. Honestly I kinda see why Lil Wayne ghosted his own concert yesterday 🤣 the universe is still trying to cleanse the sins of 2009. Like… how did we survive it.. I don’t know how I lived long enough to even get cancer. Something could have happened to me in the river, in the woods, and on every random part of the journey that vehicle took me. I just got lucky that I found myself surrounded by a good group of good hearted humans. Who all just wanted to have some good backwoods fun. And everyone protected each other and watched out for one another - for the most part. I was one of the lucky ones. I swear I look back and think about that all the time… I swear I feel like a ghost of my past self too. That girl? The one who could run on no sleep, all chaos, and a car marinated in fermented neon alcohol? I could never keep up with her now. But damn… I really do love those memories. 😝 and those people.
