I want to know why that diaper companies can’t make a size 9 or 10 the same way that make the smaller size diapers just make them bigger and wider I don’t like the way the small adult diaper fits my child and I just wish they would make them for the people who need them make them a medical only size or what ever but I like the pampers or Huggies diaper so much better but they won’t hold how much she pees anymore so I guess I’m asking how can we get them to do this

I just wanted to suggest another diaper from a mama whose kiddo floods everything. These are by far the most absorbent diapers we’ve ever used. And they’re a little more narrow which works better for my kiddo who is super skinny. These things will hold so much pee. 😅

My son is 9, disabled, diapered, gtube, nonverbal, can't walk. One of the things that recently broke me was knowing he won't even blow out his bday candles. These things come out of nowhere. 🥹

Hey, so no more caffeine okay? This Is hard and I know that my own kids all being in diapers long past the “normal” age is still nothing in comparison because mine will eventually figure it out. So I can try to hand hold, but I’ll never fully understand and I’m not going to pretend to. I can’t just agree, it’s HARD! But again, the caffeine is not helping you. Please no more of those drinks cause you’re flying girly.

as someone who is an adult with the same diagnosis as your daughter, I completely understand the spiral. I have been struggling with incontinence my entire life to different levels. you asked what made me spiral The first thing that made me spiral was having to deal with my cycle as an older adult making the decision on what to do about it. another one was due to health conditions I had to transfer from being incontinence to being characterized to needing surgery for a permanent catheter that would make me spiral. I hear you and oh always recognize you as a great parent. you're doing the best you can and it's okay not to be okay sometimes

For me it’s the milestones, I’m good until I get reminded what he won’t experience. My son will be 16 in a month and here I am thinking of how he won’t ever get a driver’s license, and it hits hard. I am thankful that he is happy and healthy, I am just sad about the little things.

Even though you’ve lived with her disability for years doesn’t mean you can’t have sad or hard days. It’s mentally and physically exhausting being “strong” all the time. Sometimes releasing all that has built up is therapeutic.

I can so relate. Our daughter is 8 too and leaks a lot! I always thought the next size was too big, I’m going to call our supplier too. Thank you for sharing this. And I can only imagine the mental shift. Sending hugs! You aren’t alone

Add a booster pad to the ones that fit . I have the same issue with my son. Adult size are huge!
