@jess.curates: didn’t cry at the fireworks. I cried because I can’t keep her little. This trip was different. Just me and my youngest, alongside some sweet mom friends and their little ones. No rushing, no splitting our attention, just getting to fully experience the magic through her eyes. As a mom of an adult, I’ve learned just how fleeting these years really are. One day, they’re asking you to carry them because their legs are tired, and then somehow, they’re grown and building a life of their own. I noticed every hand she reached for, every excited smile, every hug, every “Mom, look!” I realized these are the moments that don’t last forever. One day, she won’t need me to hold her hand through Disney. For a few magical days, time felt like it slowed down, and I got to soak in this version of her..the little girl she is right now.
