I went to my OB as a ftm with concerns thinking I was starting to go into labor and I over heard as he was in the hall way ask the nurse if she thinks I’m actually in labor or if I’m just being a nervous ftm he then walked in and brushed me off told me he’d see me in a week for my induction ..and he in fact saw me the next day after my water broke and I was in fact in labor … he walked in to check on me and was awfully quiet lol. Don’t be embarrassed.

I’m an L&D nurse and trust me, we would rather you come in too early than too late. And we send people home alllll the time for this same reason. Don’t be embarrassed!

I got sent home three times because they refused to check my waters since they didn’t think I was in enough pain. By the time they checked, it had been 23 hours since it broke

I was sent home twice with my first baby, they didn’t admit me until I was like 6 cm.

This happened to me and then the next time I went, I almost had her in the car it was too late 🥺 it’s better to be safe than sorry!

girl with my first i got up in the morning and had a gush run down my legs, ran to the hospital convinced i was in labor.... i just peed my pants🤣😅 18 yr old was horribly embarrassed

Girl, I went in in early labor only one cm dilated and went right back not even an hour later at a 5, it happens! they would rather check on you and see how you're doing than you be too late and they have to turn it into a big rushed thing for you and baby ❤️nothing to be embarrassed about
