I've heard horror stories of people vandalizing (peeing in) helmets that were locked to bikes and I'd rather not risk it at all 😭 be safe

you're brave. I will never lock an expensive helmet to my motorcycle. I will just bring along. if cheap helmet, just leave on the bike without locking

Since your bike have handlebars, I suggest doing this instead! This is how I do it. I even left it for hours and it is still there. But I think it’s depend on the area. I mean there are three options tbh on how they can steal the helmet; either cutting off the handle bar, cutting off the lock, or straight up cutting off the chin of the helmet but whats the point of doing that 🤷🏽‍♂️

See my helmet was about 800 bucks, plus my cardo which was almost 400 bucks, plus my GoPro which is another couple hundred bucks. No way 😭. I just carry that mf

I'd definitely attach it to something metal, but 90% of security is just about preventing crimes of convenience.

It's either you put the helmet in the box or carry it with you. Never trust that your helmet will be at your bike when you return. Common sense if you are a motorcyclist
