Homemade Mochi is my new favorite thing 🩵 Not only did I get to try mochi, I now know how to make mochi 😁 #homemademochi #blueraspberrymochi #koolaidmochi #mochi #EasyRecipe Mochi 1 C. Glutenous Rice Flour 1/4 C. Sugar + (1/3 C. Sugar for coating) 3/4 C. Water 1 packet Blue Raspberry KoolAid In a microwave safe bowl mix together flour, 1/4 cup of sugar and half of the blue raspberry KoolAid packet. Add water and mix well until smooth and no lumps remain. Cover and microwave for one minute. Mix, cover, and microwave another minute. (The mochi mixture should be thicker each time you microwave it). Mix the mochi mixture again by folding over itself. Cover, microwave for 30 seconds, mix, cover microwave 30 more seconds, and mix once more. Dust a plate with cornstarch, dump mochi mixture on top of that and top with more cornstarch, allow to cool enough to handle about 10 minutes. In the meantime, mixed together the remaining blue raspberry Kool-Aid packet and 1/3 cup of sugar for the sugar coating. Cut mochi into equal portions, shape mochi, roll mochi in koolaid sugar coating or cornstarch. Chill mochi for about 15 minutes before eating. If you like chewy you’ll like this mochi it’s so chewy and so yummy. Use other flavors of Kool-Aid for different Mochi flavors 😁
