@redeux_style: Do you guys remember this upcycle? Almost 5 years ago, I took the dust jacket from an Elton John book, wrapped it around a thrifted hurricane vase, and created one of my favorite DIY pieces I’ve ever made. Since then, it’s been everywhere. It’s been featured on multiple TV segments, magazines & styled throughout our home, and even spent all of last year decorating my daughter’s dorm room. Now it’s back home, dressed up with fresh summer florals, and I still love it just as much. It’s a little reminder that great design doesn’t have to be expensive or new.
