THIS. is the the moment she should’ve picked larry. i know i know it was too predictable BUT THAT IS THE POINT. their relationship was predictable, stable, and lifelong. HE knew her more than anyone else and there was going to be no way for her to NEVER be able to not look back on her life with him. that’s why i knew she would choose him.

fire and sparks don’t always last. genuine true love can get through anything. it’s not all about fire and sparks but genuine connection and a deep understanding and caring for one another is what makes it last. this movie was absolutely beautiful, i cried the entire way through either from sadness or laughter.

I think a better ending would have been Larry spending eternity with his kids and grandkids and having his family and Joan seeing why she gave up and regretting it but the afterlife people not letting her change her choice only for her to be in pain and regret for eternity with Luke. She should have faced karma for her choices
