I’m confused though? Aren’t our environment the thing that literally shaped our morality. You aren’t born with a prefix morality already ingrained in you. Your parents, your friends, the people around you aka your environment help shape it. Like someone in the 1700s will have a different set of morals than those in today. Likewise, those born in the future where death and corporations have overtaken the world, where life expectancy is like 30s. Then their society would have drastically different morality than today’s society.

The only reason I never questioned it was because of the fact that it is explicit that the laws and regulations in cyberpunk and the law in real life are different one of the best examples being how police are told to operate according to game lore

They didn’t get together till the later year of David being In maines crew when he was 18 because he was in his crew for a year to a year and a half and Lucy had no interest in David at the beginning of the show
