no. as an old alcoholic that lives in New Orleans for 40 years. if you go into a bar depressed. they mostly say that sucks. now it's a bartender is a friend of yours they may give you a drink. and I love those people. but they know you're going to get a second one and you're going to tip them for both. so this idea of the heartfelt bartender fails because they are just looking to make a living. and I have to say there are so many great bartenders in New Orleans anyway. great people will hook you up. but don't expect it
