I totally agree with you, I’m retired my dog needs hours of attention every day. I don’t get anything around the house done. I wouldn’t have it any other way 👍

I have a lab and she’s constant, it’s hard work, definitely need to be committed when getting a dog.

I still took my dogs out for walks recovering from a heart attack. They are my absolute world and I would do anything for them.

🙌 So many high energy spaniels with elderly owners. Also understanding the responsibility of a breed. I wanted a staff and ended up with a mastiff x staff. Having a bull breed comes with a level of responsibility. They get no grace and behaviours that are socially deemed acceptable in other breeds will not be in a bull breed.

We live in a flat, not Ludo’s fault we live in London so I’ve committed to 3-5 trips out a day and a good long walk with lots of flirt pole and brain games in between.

I Retired at 72yrs old a nurse. lost 2 dogs within the 2 yrs. 16yr and 11+ shitzus. My daughter bought me a cross shitzus/ poodle for my retirement present. She is 7kg in weight. perfect size for me nearly 73yr old soon. I love her to bits. very clever and obedient. 15months now. PERFECT!!!! Had dogs all my life. usually 2 dogs. I have decided 1 will be enough for me now. 👍
