Unfortunately there is often a REASON something is covered in spikes. You could say the same for the nightmares fire, but that seems specifically to keep vikings from grappling it.

it's a 50/50 but yeah the nadders breath is like the hottest in the dragon world and can melt like rocks- so MN might get cooked from that but MN could win too by sheer strength and it's fire coat so 50/50 for sure

I do genuinely believe Deadly Nadders are stronger than Monstrous Nightmares because they have better Agility and 2 attack abilities and I think they are smarter.

i believe they are both equal and it really depends on the dragons. stormfly beats hookfang because 1. astrid obviously 2. stormfly has a bigger iq while hookfang understand humans more. (obvious from snotlout's and hookfangs constant bickering) 3.Stormfly and hookfang are a lot of astrid and smotlout.
