@imellagonzales: it can be superrr confusing and unclear how people are getting these roles, especially if you’re just starting out - so here’s what actually helped me: 1.building real projects for your resume building projects is so insanely easy now with ai tools and so many resources, but it can be hard to actually figure out what to build - so id recommend checking out the github repo linked to get inspo! 2.apply to exploratory programs!! I just made a video about this so go check the out for more info, but these programs can be direct pipelines into real internships at top companies, but not many people know about them. Go apply to these 3.master your fundamentals this is super important going into interviews. Practice using sites like neetcode and leetcode 4.fix your resume this is the first stage of the hiring process and the biggest drop off point. If you’re not getting any interviews it’s likely because of your resume. Make sure you maximize its potential with your existing experience 5.apply to roles the day they drop this could easily be the difference between you getting a job and not, simply because you did or did not apply to roles when they came out. most companies review applications on a rolling basis - so you need to try to be one of the first ones in if you want to break into tech - I share all my advice, tips, tricks, hacks, etc on this page so follow for more :) #internship #bigtech #intern #interview
