@thisisnewwave: The Al industry has no shortage of strange stories. A Trojan linked to a Mistral Al library reportedly stole credentials, avoided certain systems, and contained unusual targeting logic. As Al adoption grows, cybersecurity becomes even more important. #Microsoft #CyberSecurity #MistralAI #LLMs #AI
Not exactly true. If you are using the LLM cat , you don’t have any issues on it. It’s related to the package for developing PyPI for Mistral AI, version 2.4.6. So if your are developing applications with Mistral, be cautious on the add-ons you have installed.

It was a supply-chain attack. Mistral technically wasn't hacked but still responsible for the sloppiness.

This is not LLM issue or Mistral issue. There are supply chain attacks most commonly in nodejs or python (this one most often used for ai). Programs and libraries depend on 3rd party open source code that is downloaded and if someone hijacks even one of the dependency they can put malware into it
