Cheesy steakhouse baguettes 😮‍💨 This is exactly the type of dinner that makes staying on track feel easier. Tender steak, caramelised onions, melted cheese, crispy onions and burger sauce stuffed into a toasted baguette 🤌🏼 SAVE for later 📌 Ingredients (serves 2):  1 large onion, finely sliced
1 tsp lighter butter spread
½ tsp sugar (optional)
Salt
Black pepper 200g steak (I used Rump)
 Burger sauce 50g lighter mayonnaise
½  tbsp ketchup 
½ tsp yellow mustard ½ tsp smoked paprika
 1 tsp pickle juice or vinegar To assemble 2 baguettes (I used the heat & eat from Tesco 220g in total)
2 reduced fat cheddar slices, halved 2 tsp crispy onions
  💞Add the butter to a pan and once melted add the sliced onions with a pinch of salt & sugar if using and cook until soft & golden.  💞Cook the baguettes according to packet instructions 💞Heat a separate frying pan over high heat. Season the steak with salt and black pepper. Cook for 2-4 minutes per side depending on thickness and preferred doneness until nicely charred. Transfer to a board and leave to rest for a few minutes before slicing into thin strips. 💞Mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, smoked paprika and pickle juice in a small bowl to make the burger sauce. Reserve a little of the burger sauce for drizzling over at the end. 💞Slice open the cooked baguettes and spread over the burger sauce. Pile in the steak followed by the onions. 💞Lay the cheese slices over the steak and top with onions. Return to the oven for 2-3 minutes until the cheese has melted. 💞Finish with crispy onions and a drizzle of the reserved burger sauce before serving.
