“ Some say” nobody serious says that. The YF-23 was an awesome jet, but the Raptor was better. Either one of them would’ve been king of the sky. The YF 23 is still considered so good that Japan offered to buy the design, and we refused to sell it. Which tells you just how good the Raptor is, to be out in front. You’ll see elements of the YF 23 in the F 47 design. Elements being the keyword.
