Yall I hate flying and am terrified of turbulence but I flew out of jfk Monday morning during the rain and I had the smoothest take off and flight so if it’s weather stopping you plz don’t let it cuz it doesn’t always mean rough flight

My dad told me something that helped. Just imagine ur on a bus. You hit “bumps” in the air just like you do on the street. Doesn’t make it any more dangerous.

The worst one after 24 hour flying internationally and we were landing around midnight the pilot as soon as he was about to touch the ground, he went and went up in the air for 45 minutes. I lost it.
