@realbraidenshaw: One of the greatest gifts you can give your kids isn’t money, it’s teaching them how to manage it. Your kids are watching how you earn, spend, save, and give. Those everyday habits become their financial education. The earlier kids learn how money works, the fewer financial mistakes they’ll have to learn the hard way.
this is such an important thing to start early, wish I had this growing up

My son who was 9years old at the time, would ask us for a “loan” to help him buy large quantities of drinks/ snacks from Sam’s Club and then turn around to resell them at the park. He got a lot of customers and even made enough money to buy himself a bike thag he really wanted. He did pay us back even though we told him he didn’t have to. He now invested money into his own business washing peoples trashcans in the neighborhood. Everyone knows him now as the “entrepreneur kid” 😆

What do you do when your kids don't ask for things and therefore have no incentive to save and invest? My girls don't ever ask for anything except when it's Christmas/ Birthdays (even then their list is small) and so there is no desire to want to save for anything. They understand the concept of investing and growth (age 10 and 12), but still doesn't incentivize them
